On the last day of the year 2007 my family and I were invited to go to a friends beach house to spend New Years with them. We swam in the pool, threw a foot ball and rugby ball, shot firecrackers, swam at the beach, ate food, and did a lot of other fun stuff too. My favorite part was shooting firecrackers. We shot firecrackers from sometime after 8:00 pm to after 1:00 am. When 12:00 midnight came the electricity went off. We started shooting the bigger firecrackers. I went to bed sometime after 1:00 am or early 2:00 am. I slept very well and got up the next morning, ate breakfast, and then went swimming at the beach. I had a blast!
